Psalms Flip Through! All Acrylic- Interleaved Bible

If you have been following along here for a little while, you likely know that I have been working on a Bible specifically for my son, Clark. I started working on it when I was pregnant with him, and he will be TWO in a couple of months! My goal is to work my way through the whole Bible. I started in Psalms because that is where I felt like God was telling me to start.

It has not been a quick process, but now, after over two years, I have finished the book of Psalms!

This Bible journaling project is already one of the most special things I have ever created. Words really can’t describe how meaningful it is to me already, and I only have one book done!

Of course, I had to do a flip-through of the finished journaling I did in Psalms! Check out the video below!

This Bible is the ESV Interleaved Journaling Bible, Leather Cover (CLICK HERE TO BUY IT ON AMAZON). It is by far my favorite journaling Bible and the one I most often recommend. The Interleaved Bible also comes in more affordable cover options, like THIS ONE.

Every page has an acrylic background. I did this because I want all the pages to have the same feel/thickness to them, plus, I hadn’t worked in a bible doing only acrylics before (I’m working in another with watercolors, which you can see HERE), so I thought it would be fun.

You’ll also notice that on every page I write a prayer over my son, usually at the bottom of the page. I have also been using this Bible as a baby book of sorts, noting milestones and what he has been into, as well as incorporating his handprints and footprints. (Gah, I can’t believe how much he has grown already!)

I just couldn’t resist putting this cute pic of Clark here.

But I don’t want to go too much into all the details on how I am going about creating this Bible, because I already have a post and video that goes over all of that. Click the link below.

These are the supplies that I have used for pretty much all of the pages in this Bible:

*Note, you DO NOT need to prep your page with gesso when using acrylic paint. So I don’t ever prep my pages.*
