I was flipping through my interleaved Bible and saw a few Bible journaling pages I had done around then inspired by those 10 easy lettering styles. These pages consist only of hand lettering. No paint or lots of supplies. Just my Bible, and a brush pen (though you could use a normal pen as well).

I had a short time while the baby napped to do some Bible journaling, so I decided to do a quick and easy watercolor background so that I could try out some of the new colors. This watercolor background is so simple that anyone can do it. It’s particularly great for those just starting out with adding paint to their Bible.

The best part about adding a bit of our personal lives onto our journaling pages, is that it illustrates how God is so involved in our lives. This Bible journaling page is a kind of tribute to my cat, Kona, who recently passed away.
