Bible Journaling With Me- Simple Watercolor Floral Tutorial

Today I’m bringing you a tutorial on making big watercolor florals in your journaling Bible! Who doesn’t love some flowers?!

I have a video below that shows how to create these pretty pink flowers, but since Bible journaling is all about connecting with the Lord, I also wanted to share how meaningful this page is to me. And maybe you’ll relate! (Of course, you can use these florals in any way you like, but I felt called to use them to illustrate Ephesians 4.)

I have been blessed to be one or Sarah Koontz’s creative partners for her free, online, Ephesians Bible study that is launching on October 16thand was able to get an early copy of the study! So, as I was reading day 16, on Ephesians 4: 11-16, I had this huge “aha moment” when Sarah says “We do not all have the same gifts, but we have the same calling- to build up the body of Christ.”

If you didn’t know, I moved to Japan almost 2 years ago after marrying my husband. And to be honest, I have struggled here trying to figure out my new role as a wife (and military spouse at that). As well as trying to reinvent my career and “figure out my new purpose” so to say. So when I read that, it was like.. WOW GOD! My purpose, or my calling, is not in my job or title! My calling- and any Christian’s calling- is to build up the body of Christ!  *mind blown*

This Study has truly been a blessing to me, and I have learned so much about Ephesians. Sarah sheds some great truth and light on God’s word. Did I mention it is also packed full of awesome freebies, including 4 coloring pages I made myself!? I really cannot say enough wonderful things about this study!

Sign up for the study here (You can sign up for this study AT ANY TIME but it officially begins OCT. 16th 2017.)  Remember it is completely free! It is a 30-day study and only takes 10-15 minutes a day to complete! Seriously awesome!

Alright, back to the watercolor floral tutorial –

I put together a video for you to watch below. I figure it is the most efficient way to show you these florals. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask in the comment section below!
