Walkway To The Beach- Bible Journaling With Me

I decided I wanted to Bible journal Proverbs 16:9 which says, “The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.” (ESV).

I knew I wanted to do some kind of pathway to illustrate this verse, and then memories of walking up to the beach popped into my mind. I did my best to describe my vision in the video, but I just couldn’t get the vision in my head out in words. I didn’t use a reference photo and just went for it.

But then, after I edited the video, I went with my son to the beach and I saw almost exactly what I was invisioning. So here’s a photo! You have to go over the sand dune to get to the beach.

I was born and raised in Southern California, and this beach walkway/pathway page is pretty personal to my own experiences, but I hope that it inspires you.

I am curious, have you been to the beach often? Let me know in the comments.

I think Bible journaling pages based on our own memories are extra special. But, I would encourage you to give this one a shot and feel free to use my page or picture above as a reference!
