I LOVE watching Bible flip-throughs on YouTube to see bible journaling examples and gain some inspiration! It’s so fun to see the kinds of art we can create in our Bibles.
I have done a few flip-throughs before, and today I wanted to do one more!

I was flipping through my interleaved Bible and saw a few Bible journaling pages I had done around then inspired by those 10 easy lettering styles. These pages consist only of hand lettering. No paint or lots of supplies. Just my Bible, and a brush pen (though you could use a normal pen as well).

I had a short time while the baby napped to do some Bible journaling, so I decided to do a quick and easy watercolor background so that I could try out some of the new colors. This watercolor background is so simple that anyone can do it. It’s particularly great for those just starting out with adding paint to their Bible.

The thing is that using black (or other dark) paint can be super intimidating, especially in our precious Bibles.
